Shane Nigam's Malayalam investigative thriller "Dridam" is scheduled for an OTT release on JioHotstar on June 12, 2026, following its theatrical debut a month prior. The film, directed by Martin Joseph and co-produced by Jeethu Joseph, features Nigam as a Sub-Inspector handling various crimes.
Dridam’s June 12 JioHotstar debut shows a short theatrical-to-OTT window of about one month, giving the platform fresh Malayalam content soon after cinemas. It also adds another investigative thriller to JioHotstar’s film library, with Shane Nigam’s performance singled out in reviews as a standout. The film’s departure from standard cop-thriller templates is part of its positioning. The next concrete marker is whether JioHotstar highlights Dridam among its June releases or uses it in promotion around the June 12 launch.
