Apple TV uploaded a scene from the second season of its original series, "Your Friends & Neighbors," to YouTube. The dark comedy-thriller, starring Jon Hamm and Amanda Peet, is available for streaming on Apple TV, with a third season already greenlit.
Apple TV is using YouTube as a promotional surface for a current-season scene, not just a trailer, which keeps Your Friends & Neighbors visible outside the subscription app. The move reinforces how Apple uses original series clips to support retention and discovery for its scripted slate, alongside titles like Severance and Ted Lasso mentioned in the channel description. The concrete signal to watch is whether Apple continues posting episode-specific scenes from Season 2, rather than only short-form marketing assets.
