Mediaproxy, a developer of compliance logging and monitoring systems, has named Heartland Video Systems (HVS) as its exclusive U.S. partner for broadcast and streaming monitoring solutions. The partnership targets broadcasters needing tools to manage ATSC 1.0, ATSC 3.0, and multi-platform streaming complexity, expanding Mediaproxy's reach in the U.S. market.
The partnership gives Mediaproxy — an Australian compliance logging specialist — a dedicated U.S. channel through a systems integrator deeply embedded in ATSC 3.0 deployment. HVS has completed 60-plus NextGen TV installations and runs annual interoperability plugfests, positioning it to push LogServer and Monwall into broadcast facilities navigating dual ATSC 1.0/3.0 operations. The deal lands as the ATSC 3.0 transition remains stalled without a firm FCC sunset date for 1.0 broadcasts, leaving broadcasters managing parallel signal chains that demand unified monitoring. Mediaproxy has steadily expanded its ATSC 3.0 monitoring capabilities over the past two years, positioning LogServer as a software-based alternative to hardware compliance tools. At NAB Show 2025, the company debuted Monwall Server and introduced cloud licensing alongside new JPEG-XS support for TR-07 streams, giving broadcasters a pay-per-use model for temporary monitoring needs such as live sports events. The HVS partnership now provides a dedicated U.S. sales channel for these expanded product capabilities.
Mediaproxy's technical differentiation in the U.S. market centers on its A3SA (ATSC 3.0 Security Authority) certification, which it received in August 2024. The company highlighted the certification at NAB Show New York in October 2024, demonstrating decryption of encrypted ATSC 3.0 signals for both to-air and off-air monitoring. CEO Erik Otto noted at the time that NextGen TV had reached 75 percent of U.S. television households, underscoring the scale of the monitoring opportunity. This certification allows LogServer to handle encrypted STLTP and DASH/ROUTE streams without requiring custom decryption hardware, a cost advantage that HVS can now bring directly to American broadcasters.
Mediaproxy has also been extending its platform toward AI-assisted workflows. At NAB Show 2026, the company showcased its next-generation LogPlayer interface with AI-driven capabilities and direct support for recording YouTube TV channels, broadening compliance monitoring beyond traditional broadcast signals into OTT and virtual MVPD environments. This expansion into streaming-platform monitoring aligns with the HVS partnership's stated scope of covering both broadcast and streaming compliance needs for U.S. operators managing multi-platform distribution.
