Blackmagic Design has released Beta 4 of DaVinci Resolve 21, introducing several enhancements. Key improvements include better Resolve FX handling for still images and improved AI CineFocus quality, alongside general updates across various functions of the software.
Beta 4 adds targeted fixes to DaVinci Resolve 21’s effects and AI tools, which matters for editors working with still images and CineFocus workflows. The release also shows Blackmagic Design is continuing to refine multiple parts of the software rather than limiting changes to one page or feature. For StreamingMeme readers tracking post-production software, the specific signal to watch is whether later beta notes add more AI or Resolve FX changes beyond this round of general improvements.
