LTV's relationship with Veset deepened beyond the initial 2019 DR deployment. Latvian Television partnered with Veset in 2024 to launch a full Disaster Recovery TV Channel using Nimbus, moving from a standby backup to a more comprehensive continuity solution. LTV board member Ingemars Vekteris stated that the implementation allows the broadcaster to manage channels globally without hardware-based systems, removing the constraints of physical infrastructure and making content globally accessible for teams.
Veset positions Nimbus as a direct replacement for legacy DR models that depend on duplicate physical infrastructure and complex data center failover processes. The platform supports multiple deployment tiers including hot DR with a fully mirrored instance running in parallel for immediate failover, and warm DR with a standby configuration. Veset presented on resilience, security, and broadcast continuity in cloud playout at EBU Horizons, signaling the company's engagement with European public broadcasters on operational continuity standards.
