Karisma Kapoor will star as a police officer in the new murder mystery series "Brown," which is set to premiere on Zee5 on June 5. The series is directed by Abhinay Deo and also marks singer Shaan's debut on an OTT platform.
Brown adds a recognisable film star, Karisma Kapoor, to a Zee5 murder mystery anchored in Kolkata and built around a teenage-girl murder case. For Zee5, the title broadens its crime-thriller slate with a cast mix that includes singer Shaan’s first OTT role and director Abhinay Deo. The concrete marker to watch is the June 5 launch on Zee5, which will show how the platform positions Brown within its June release lineup.
