Agora has launched App Builder, a no-code visual designer that allows users to customize and create real-time engagement applications. This tool facilitates the branding and deployment of video chat and live streaming apps.
Agora is making it easier to build and brand real-time engagement products without code, which lowers the barrier to launching video chat and live streaming apps. For the streaming stack, App Builder sits closer to the application layer than infrastructure-only tools, giving Agora a way to package its real-time stack into a faster deployment workflow. The key signal to watch is how Agora positions App Builder across video chat versus live streaming deployments, since those are the two use cases named in the launch.
