PlayOn Sports has rebranded VidSwap as MaxPreps Advantage, integrating high school sports analytics directly into MaxPreps. The platform, available free to NFHS Network member schools, automatically captures, analyzes, and uploads game footage for 11 different sports, generating stats, scores, and recap videos. This move aims to streamline coaching workflows and enhance fan engagement by providing curated highlights and data.
This turns MaxPreps into a more integrated workflow for high school teams: game film is captured, analyzed, and pushed into MaxPreps without extra manual upload steps. It also ties PlayOn’s coaching analytics more closely to its broader high school sports stack, which includes GoFan, MaxPreps, and the NFHS Network. The specific signal to watch is adoption across the 11 supported sports and whether schools use the free offering for varsity, JV, and freshman programs.
