TV Benavente, a Spanish local TV channel, renewed its automation playout system and graphics, utilizing wTVision's ChannelMaker and an integrated video server. This update aims to enhance the viewer experience and optimize the channel's workflow through centralized content control and automated 3D graphics. wTVision provided a complete solution including consulting, graphics design, integration, customization, and operation.
This localized refresh highlights the ongoing need for broadcasters to optimize playout and graphics workflows for efficiency and viewer engagement, even at the regional level. The integration of automation and centralized content management provides a template for smaller operations looking to modernize without extensive infrastructure overhaul. Moving forward, watch for further adoption of integrated, scalable playout solutions by regional broadcasters aiming to compete with larger players on presentation quality and operational cost efficiency.
wTVision continues to advance its ChannelMaker playout automation system, focusing on cloud-ready workflows and format-aware pipelines for diverse streaming needs (SVG Europe, April 2026). The company recently showcased these developments at NAB 2026, alongside integrated graphics solutions for news, live sports, and studio environments, emphasizing a unified end-to-end graphics workflow (SVG Europe, April 2026). At IBC2025, wTVision also highlighted ChannelMaker as part of its future-ready ecosystem, emphasizing operational resilience and flexibility for multi-channel environments, enabling control over ingest, metadata, scheduling, and ad-driven logic (SVG Europe, August 2025). This aligns with a broader industry trend of transitioning traditional broadcast workflows to the cloud and adopting integrated systems to reduce technical complexity and investment, as demonstrated by wTVision's own tests of a cloud-based ChannelMaker-in-the-Cloud solution with ATEME (NCS NewscastStudio, March 2017).
