Zowietek Electronics, Ltd. announced its participation in Prolight + Sound 2026, where it will showcase its new ZowieBox Pro, an AI-powered edge computing terminal with NDI 6 and WiFi 6 support for 4K60 IP-based solutions. The company will also launch the POVZOOM full product line of cameras, including specialized models for podcasting, outdoor use, and operating rooms, alongside a new professional control keyboard. Zowietek will be part of the NDI Ecosystem Zone and emphasize an open ecosystem for system integrators.
Zowietek is pairing an AI-enabled edge terminal with multiple camera variants and a control keyboard, which makes its pitch less about a single device and more about a complete IP production stack. That matters for integrators because the company is explicitly targeting podcasting, outdoor, operating room, and 24/7 broadcast use cases while keeping NDI, VISCA, Pelco, RS485/422, PoE, and Open API support in view. The main signal to watch is how Zowietek frames ZowieBox Pro’s NDI 6 and WiFi 6 support against the rest of the NDI Ecosystem Zone demos at Prolight + Sound 2026.
