Magewell announced it will showcase new products at InfoComm, including the Pro Convert IP to USB, a plug-and-play device for capturing NDI and other streaming sources via USB. Additionally, the company is introducing the Pro Convert Xmit AIO, a new standalone encoder/decoder within its Xmit family, capable of converting SDI or HDMI to/from 4Kp60 NDI HX formats.
Magewell is targeting two common integration pain points right now: getting NDI or other IP sources into laptops and software via USB, and moving SDI/HDMI into NDI HX workflows with a single standalone box. That matters for conference rooms, production studios, and ProAV installations using 1Gbps networks, where input/output flexibility is often the bottleneck. The immediate signal to watch is whether the Xmit AIO gains traction as a 4Kp60 NDI HX encoder/decoder after its InfoComm preview, especially alongside the already shipping Pro Convert IP to USB.
