Kiloview has released the KiloLink Station Pro, an all-in-one hardware appliance designed for network video source aggregation, decoding, and centralized management. The device supports up to 64 connected units, handles multiple streaming protocols, and provides 3G-SDI frame-level synchronization for live production workflows.
The KiloLink Station Pro shifts the technical burden from software-heavy server deployments to dedicated edge hardware for remote contribution. By integrating bonding reception, quad-SDI output, and centralized management into a half-1U form factor, Kiloview targets the high-relability requirements of live event and news production where Linux server maintenance is impractical. This consolidation simplifies the signal chain for NDI and SRT workflows, providing a hardware bridge between mobile 5G field encodes and traditional studio switchers. Watch for high-bandwidth NDI recording adoption as Kiloview activates the onboard SSD interface via future firmware updates, further positioning the device as a complete production hub.
At ISE 2026, Kiloview executives highlighted the KiloLink Station as a foundational 'top layer' of their AV-over-IP ecosystem, positioning it as an on-premise alternative to the subscription-based KiloLink Server Pro software. Per AVTechnology (February 2026), the device was recognized for its ability to enable fast onboarding of remote feeds with minimal IT expertise, a critical factor for the growing demand in professional multi-camera remote production. This hardware release follows a broader industry trend toward all-in-one aggregation nodes that support heterogeneous protocol environments, specifically bridging low-latency SRT field contributions with local NDI production networks.
Previous firmware iterations, such as version 1.10.0 released in mid-2025, focused on expanding protocol support by adding HLS and TS over UDP to the KiloLink Server architecture. These updates also introduced pre-parsing modes to reduce network bandwidth consumption and a redesigned web UI for batch firmware management. According to Digital Media World (June 2026), Kiloview's strategy at events like InfoComm 2026 has centered on reducing system complexity through 'application-driven' hardware that provides both signal management and protocol conversion without needing external computers or clients.
Competitively, the KiloLink Station Pro enters a market where professional AV teams are increasingly moving away from standalone decoders in favor of multi-channel matrix routers. As noted by JB&A during their March 2026 showcase, the ability to visualize topology maps and manage power monitoring from a centralized hub is becoming standard for enterprise and campus media centers. Kiloview's inclusion of frame-level synchronization via embedded timecodes specifically targets the 'broadcast-ready' market segment, competing directly with high-end modular media platforms that traditionally require more complex rack-space configurations.
