New capabilities beyond the channel expansion include playthrough of SDI and ST2110 recordings to an external monitor for live quality assurance, duplication of live input signals for recording two or more formats from a single source, and three user interface layout options including multiview, split view, and full screen. The software also introduces audio monitoring bars measured in dBFS and support for recording video in timed chunks.
The KRONOS Optikos3G ST IP's interchangeable SFP+ design represents a specific technical differentiator in the multichannel capture card market.
