Fox Advertising has expanded its partnership with iSpot.tv to integrate cross-platform measurement currency into its automated OneFOX ad platform. The move enables advertisers to use unified data to plan and measure campaigns across linear, CTV, and digital video inventory.
This integration signals a critical shift toward outcome-based currency in the B2B ad market, moving beyond traditional reach metrics. By embedding iSpot directly into OneFOX, Fox is simplifying the transaction of cross-platform campaigns, effectively challenging Nielsen’s historical dominance with faster, attribution-focused data. As streaming and linear inventory increasingly converge, the ability to prove ROI via direct business lift is becoming the baseline requirement for agency buyers. Watch for whether rival broadcasters accelerate similar deep-link integrations with alternative currency providers like VideoAmp to capture the shifting Upfront budgets.
The expansion follows the broader industry move toward a multi-currency environment. According to Marketing Dive in July 2025, the U.S. Joint Industry Committee (JIC) completed its mid-term audit of alternative measurement providers, reaffirming the currency-grade readiness of iSpot, Comscore, and VideoAmp. This certification has allowed these firms to compete directly with Nielsen for large-scale media guarantees. Per Forbes in October 2025, while Nielsen retains a large share of the market, alternative currencies have seen rapid adoption; VideoAmp, for example, reported managing $3 billion in measurement-based ad spending annually.
Fox first launched its OneFOX converged media platform in May 2025, according to Fox Corporation. The platform was built on AI-driven technology from AdRise to unify planning and activation across Fox Entertainment, Fox Sports, Fox News Media, and Tubi. By shifting away from an over-reliance on traditional identities toward AI-driven outcome inferences, Fox aimed to provide a privacy-compliant solution that could match brands with precise audiences at scale. The integration with iSpot represents a logical progression of this strategy, turning these technological inferences into transactable currency.
Recent performance data underscores the effectiveness of this approach. Per TV Technology in July 2026, Fox reported that its networks delivered 142.26 billion television ad impressions over the past year, representing more than 10% of the total U.S. market. A specific case study from April 2026 highlighted by Fox showed that its outcomes-based measurement helped a quick-service restaurant drive a 148% lift in conversions, significantly higher than the 54% average lift seen across the rest of the brand's linear TV buy.
