Former Prime Video executive Christine Molinares launches Bremer Vision Group

The establishment of this advisory firm highlights a growing demand for data-driven decision-making in an increasingly fragmented global distribution market. By applying AI tools to traditional programming workflows, the firm aims to reduce the risk for producers navigating complex licensing landscapes across the US and Latin America. This move reflects a broader industry shift where veteran executives are leveraging technical certifications, such as Molinares’ MIT AI credentials, to bridge the gap between creative development and algorithmic efficiency. Watch for whether BVG’s AI-integrated pitching model gains traction with major streamers like Prime Video or Univision as they tighten content acquisition budgets as they tighten content acquisition budgets.

Christine Molinares joins a growing cohort of former studio and streaming executives who have launched independent advisory firms focused on AI-driven content strategy. In early 2025, former Netflix executive Bela Bajaria's production company signed a multi-year deal with Universal Television to develop scripted content using data-informed greenlight frameworks, signaling that algorithmic approaches to content selection are moving from internal tools to external consulting models. Similarly, former Warner Bros. Discovery executive Luis Silberwasser was named president of Telemundo in January 2025, bringing a background in data-driven programming strategy to a major Spanish-language network, a segment directly relevant to Bremer Vision Group's Latin America focus.

The business case for AI-integrated advisory firms is being tested across the entertainment industry as studios cut development budgets and demand faster returns on content investment. Amazon MGM Studios announced in March 2025 that it would reduce its annual film slate from 15 titles to 8, prioritizing titles with stronger predictive performance data, a trend that increases demand for external firms capable of providing AI-assisted project assessment. Meanwhile, Univision Communications reported in its Q1 2025 earnings call that it had reduced content acquisition spending by 18% year over year while increasing investment in proprietary content analytics tools, underscoring the budget pressures that make external advisory services attractive to mid-tier distributors.

On the technical side, AI tools for content evaluation are maturing beyond basic audience prediction models. Cinelytic, a Los Angeles-based AI analytics firm used by several major studios, reported in February 2025 that its platform had been adopted by 14 entertainment companies for script evaluation and box office forecasting, providing a benchmark for the kind of AI-assisted project assessment that Bremer Vision Group aims to offer. Parrot Analytics expanded its content demand measurement platform in April 2025 to include AI-generated audience affinity scores across 40 markets, a capability that aligns with the global distribution strategy focus Molinares has outlined for her new firm. These tools represent the competitive landscape Bremer Vision Group enters, where differentiation depends on combining proprietary AI video data pipelines with deep programming relationships.
