This system allows for versatile single and dual-fixture configurations, catering to various production needs and expanding the Vortex2's capabilities. The new accessories, including SNAPBAGs, SNAPGRIDs, and SNAPCLOTH diffusers, will be showcased at Cine Gear Expo 2026.
This DoPchoice system provides new light control options for the Creamsource Vortex2, a popular lighting fixture in professional production. The modular design, especially the dual-fixture capability, offers directors of photography and gaffers increased flexibility in various shot setups, from small studios to larger productions where broader light coverage is critical. This development underscores the continued focus on accessory ecosystems to maximize hardware utility and streamline on-set workflows. Teams should monitor adoption rates and subsequent accessory releases for other popular lighting fixtures to gauge market impact.
