The business case for automated cloud media transfer is gaining traction across the production hardware market. Frame.io announced in March 2025 that its Camera to Cloud workflow had surpassed 2 million uploads since its 2022 launch, demonstrating demand from cinematographers and production managers for direct-to-cloud pipelines that bypass physical media shuttling.
