The role designs and maintains embedded software and firmware for broadcast routing and IP video switching hardware, mainly on Linux, and includes real-time components and board-level integration. It requires strong C/C++, Linux systems skills such as IPC, multithreading and debugging, and 2 to 5 years of embedded experience. Knowledge of broadcast IP standards and networking is a bonus.
