Encompass Digital Media and VideoMagic International launched Altitude Intelligence at NAB 2026. The AI platform generates metadata, QC inputs, and scene discovery tools for broadcast, entertainment, and sport workflows inside Encompass’s Altitude Flow media supply chain platform.
Encompass Digital Media is expanding its partnership with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to run Altitude Cloud and Master Control in the Cloud on OCI. The setup is aimed at playout, master control, distribution, VOD processing, archive, and disaster recovery for broadcasters, sports leagues, and streaming platforms.
Narrative Entertainment is using Encompass’s Altitude Intelligence platform to produce subtitles for its Great! network channels, including Great! TV, Great! Action, Great! Mystery and Great! Romance. The hybrid workflow combines AI transcription and language analysis with human subtitle review for faster turnaround and broadcast-ready output.
Channel 4 has चुosen Encompass Digital Media to provide managed linear playout, channel origination, content supply chain and disaster recovery services for its UK portfolio, including Channel 4, E4, More4, Film4, E4 Extra and 4seven. The multi-year deal will use Encompass’s cloud-native Altitude platform from London and Riga ahead of the 2027 launch.
