wTVision provided real-time graphics services for the regional election night in Azores for RTP Açores. The company utilized its Elections CG software to integrate and manage electoral results, producing full-screen graphics and tickers.
This engagement highlights the ongoing need for specialized software and services to visualize complex, real-time data for live broadcast, particularly in news and current affairs. For broadcasters, efficient and accurate graphics solutions are critical for audience engagement during events like elections, where immediate data presentation is paramount. The continuing demand for real-time data integration and display will drive further innovation in broadcast graphics platforms, pushing for greater automation and dynamic content generation.
wTVision frequently provides its real-time graphics services for election coverage across various broadcasters. For instance, in October 2025, TM Broadcast International reported wTVision's involvement in Portugal's local elections, operating across seven simultaneous broadcasts for networks including CNN Portugal, TVI, RTP, and RTP Açores. This utilized their integrated ecosystem to transform official electoral data into real-time storytelling, with customizations for diverse workflows and editorial strategies. Earlier, a June 2019 article on wTVision's own site mentioned Elections CG being used in seven different projects that month, across Panama, Portugal, and Spain, demonstrating its adaptability to various broadcasters' existing workflows. These instances underscore wTVision's established presence in providing data and real-time graphics for electoral events, often integrating with third-party technologies and adapting to specific broadcast requirements, ranging from national broadcasters to regional stations and nascent digital platforms, per TM Broadcast International.
