Magewell has introduced the Ultra Encode AIO, an all-in-one streaming encoder for professional broadcast, live events, and hybrid production environments. The device combines HDMI and SDI inputs, supporting resolutions up to 4K60 and 4K30 respectively, and can mix these inputs into a picture-in-picture or side-by-side combined output. It features H.264/H.265 processing, multi-protocol delivery to up to six simultaneous destinations, and local recording to SD card and USB.
The immediate impact is straightforward: facilities that need both HDMI and SDI in one box now have a single encoder that can also mix those sources into PiP or side-by-side output.
