Dalet joins AWS and Google Cloud for agentic AI orchestration project

This collaboration signals a shift toward autonomous media management where AI agents handle complex tasks like compliance and highlight generation without constant manual intervention. By integrating with cloud giants like AWS and Google Cloud, Dalet is positioning its Dalia platform as a central nervous system for live production stacks that require high-speed personalization. For the broader ecosystem, this move validates the transition from simple generative tools to sophisticated orchestration layers that prioritize editorial governance. Watch for the IBC 2026 demonstration in Hall 14 to see how effectively these agentic AI systems maintain human-in-the-loop control during high-pressure live broadcasts.

Dalet operates in an increasingly crowded field of media supply chain platforms racing to embed agentic AI into live production workflows. The IBC 2026 Accelerator project places Dalet alongside cloud hyperscalers and broadcasters in a structured proof-of-concept, but the company has been building toward this moment through product updates. Dalet announced in May 2026 that the latest Dalet Flex LTS release introduces foundational AI capabilities designed to support agent-driven experiences with Dalia, including semantic search, multilingual transcription, and embedded AI services that run across on-premises, cloud, and distributed deployments. Dalia itself is currently in live testing with early adopters and was slated for wide availability starting in Q2 2026, making the IBC Accelerator demonstration a high-profile validation window for the platform. On the broadcaster deployment side, MBC Group provides a key reference case for the kind of unified media supply chain that Dalet's agentic orchestration targets. MBC Group, the largest media company in the Middle East with over 150 million weekly viewers, has relied on Dalet to manage the full journey of media assets from ingest to playout, eliminating sequential workflows and enabling teams to collaborate across devices and locations. Aus Alzubaidi, who leads IT, Cybersecurity and Media Management at MBC, described the platform's adaptability as essential as the broadcaster advances toward more automated, AI-assisted workflows. Meanwhile, Astro Malaysia, another IBC Accelerator partner, has been pursuing its own cloud transformation. Astro selected Amagi and AWS in 2024 to transition playout services to the cloud, marking the first large-scale cloud-based playout solution by a broadcaster in Malaysia, a move that complements the live production automation Dalet aims to demonstrate at IBC 2026. Technical benchmarks for agentic AI in live production remain scarce, but adjacent deployments offer useful reference points for the architectural pattern Dalet is pursuing. Ericsson's agentic AI architecture for network optimization demonstrated an 80 percent reduction in analysis and decision-making time across its Cell Anomaly Detector and Root Cause Explainer agents, processing data from over 60,000 KPIs to identify 20 distinct classes of issues. While that system targets telecom networks rather than media production, the supervisor-agent coordination model mirrors what Dalet is building for live sports workflows. The commercial stakes for live sports broadcasting are also shifting: , a development that underscores why broadcasters are seeking operational efficiency through like those Dalet is demonstrating.
