EIZO's CG1 was showcased at NAB Show 2025 alongside Panasonic's KAIROS platform, where the two companies demonstrated 12-bit 4:4:4 video signal output at 4K-DCI resolution over a single ST 2110 connection. That validation program gives broadcasters and production teams a pre-tested path to IP-native monitoring, reducing integration risk when deploying ST 2110 across a facility. On the technical side, the ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG1 demonstrates the performance ceiling for ST 2110 reference monitors, achieving 1000 cd/m2 brightness and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio without local dimming, with the monitor shipping from late 2024. Boland's QD4K32HDR10-Opt 2110 targets a different segment, focusing on production monitoring and video wall applications rather than color-critical grading, but the underlying principle is identical: eliminating the SDI-to-IP conversion step at the display.
