The role involves designing high-throughput cloud video encoders that support modern codecs from H.264 through AV1, and leading the specification, interface design and micro-architecture of video hardware codec blocks. Candidates need an advanced engineering degree, substantial video hardware experience, and strong Verilog/SystemVerilog and RTL design skills; a DSP or multimedia background is a plus.
