AI-Driven Physical Design Engineering (PhD Intern)

About the role

This PhD internship applies machine learning and graph neural networks to improve chip physical design flows, including workflow automation, data analysis pipelines, and benchmarking against power, performance and area targets. Candidates need enrollment in a PhD program in electrical or computer engineering or computer science, plus Python, TCL or Perl scripting and familiarity with synthesis, place-and-route and timing tools.
