Staff Conversational Designer

About the role

This staff-level role defines how voice agents converse, covering persona, turn-taking, barge-in, repair, and confirmation behavior. The designer works with ML and engineering on latency tradeoffs, builds conversation-quality evals, and writes developer-facing guidance and reference experiences. Strong experience designing LLM-based voice agents and fluency with the speech pipeline are needed.
