About the role

A final-year engineering internship building a preprocessing algorithm that detects rotation, zoom and translation in video sequences to guide next-generation encoders. The intern will review global motion estimation methods, implement and benchmark the estimator on real footage, and assess accuracy, cost and integration. Requires C/C++, Python, image processing and motion estimation or geometry knowledge.
