Hexaglobe Group is a global leader in IT technology for the audiovisual sector, unifying OTT and broadcast workflows through its three brands: Hexaglobe, BBright, and SGT. The company streams over 150 million videos daily and provides broadcast automation software used by more than 100 premium channels, demonstrating its scalability and trust. Its acquisition of BBright in 2024 and membership in the Ultra HD Forum underscore its commitment to next-generation formats and IP-based solutions. Recent innovations include AI-defined streaming and RIST-enabled live encoders, positioning Hexaglobe as a forward-thinking partner for media transformation.
Hexaglobe says its Live Encoder now supports RIST alongside SDI, IPTS, SRT, H.264/HEVC transcoding, and OTT delivery formats. The company positions the update as an interoperability enhancement for live media workflows.
Hexaglobe introduced VisionQuery, an AI perception engine for media built on NVIDIA's video search and summarization blueprint. The release says it embeds AI-driven triggers into video, audio, and metadata streams for live production workflows.
Hexaglobe announced plans to demonstrate OTT technology at IBC 2025, including AI-driven streaming, bespoke OTT platforms, and scalable streaming infrastructure. The item is a company-specific event announcement, not general industry news.
