The HbbTV Association is a global, non-profit industry association that harmonizes the broadcast and broadband delivery of entertainment services. It develops the HbbTV specification, which enables innovative, interactive services over broadcast and broadband networks. The specification integrates elements from existing standards like OIPF, CEA, DVB, MPEG-DASH, and W3C. The association has around 80 members worldwide and is registered in Switzerland.
