EBU Technology & Innovation is the technology and innovation arm of the European Broadcasting Union, the world's foremost alliance of public service media. It facilitates collaboration among over 100 member organizations to develop standards, share best practices, and drive innovation in broadcasting and media technology. The department oversees strategic programs, working groups, and the annual Technology & Innovation Awards, fostering co-development and knowledge exchange. Unlike commercial vendors, EBU T&I focuses on collective problem-solving and advocacy for public service media's technological future.
