Sobatech Group has centralized its remote production workflow for the F4 Spanish Championship and Eurocup-3 using Blackmagic Design hardware and Haivision contribution systems. The setup utilizes 4G, 5G, and Starlink connectivity to manage 34 camera inputs at a remote hub, demonstrating a cost-effective REMI production model.
This deployment demonstrates that high-density remote production is no longer exclusive to top-tier broadcasters with massive budgets. By centralizing 34 inputs and utilizing bonded cellular and satellite links, Sobatech proves that complex racing events can be managed with minimal onsite staff. This shift pressures traditional outside broadcast providers to adopt more flexible, software-defined hardware stacks to remain competitive. The use of multi-carrier 5G and Starlink highlights a growing industry reliance on public internet for mission-critical contribution. Watch for whether EPIC Championships expands this model to other regional racing series to further lower production overhead.

This shift demonstrates that high-density remote production is now accessible for regional racing series beyond top-tier broadcasters.
Sobatech uses a centralized hub in Banoyles that aggregates 4G, 5G, and Starlink connections via the Haivision SST protocol to ensure link stability for 34 camera inputs.
The workflow utilizes 14 URSA Broadcast G2 cameras, an ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K for switching, and HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR units for recording to a 24TB Blackmagic Cloud Store Max.
