PROVYS Technologies is bringing PROVYS Sphere Pro, Stream Circle and Tweenly to IBC 2026, with new AI functions, live sports planning features and cloud deployment on AWS and Linux. The company will exhibit at Hall 1, stand 1.C11, and host a pre-IBC webinar on 3 September 2026.
This is a clear IBC 2026 product announcement from a media software vendor, with updates spanning broadcast management, playout, graphics and AI-assisted metadata work. It fits the broader IBC ecosystem because it speaks directly to the software stack broadcasters use to plan live sports, manage playout and handle on-air graphics across cloud and on-premises environments. The concrete signal to watch next is whether PROVYS shows a released version or customer deployments for the new AI features, AWS and Linux support, and the Tweenly On Air app at the Amsterdam show.
AWS has been positioning media workflows around elastic cloud broadcast production and partner software for live events, which is the same procurement logic behind PROVYS Technologies’ cloud deployment story: buyers want scheduling and playout tools that can move without major infrastructure refreshes. That matters because the competitive bar is no longer just feature depth, it is how cleanly a vendor fits into broadcaster cloud estates and partner ecosystems.
Live sports remains a major test case for cloud-first video workflows, with vendors using AI to automate highlights and metadata around fast-changing event timelines. PROVYS Technologies is pitching into that exact pressure point, where scheduling teams need better handling of volatile match calendars, late changes, and downstream graphics or playout dependencies. In practice, that means software has to help operators reduce manual rework, not just store more metadata.
Independent coverage of cloud master control and playout has focused on software-defined operations that can trigger captions, ad markers, and redundant feeds from one interface. PROVYS Technologies is moving in the same direction by tying AI functions to operational planning rather than treating them as add-ons, and that aligns with where broadcasters are already spending attention: resilience, automation, and control over live output. The technical question at IBC will be how much of that workflow can be proven in production, not just demonstrated on a stand.
